:13 Seconds.  That's how close you were, Bills fans.  By the time you're finished reading this sentence, 13 seconds will have passed.

Bills fans, I know you don't want to hear this, but your team played their absolute tails off last night.   It was a hostile environment, against a Hall of Fame-caliber quarterback and coach, and a Chief's team with a loaded core of players just a few seasons removed from a Super Bowl title.

And I know you don't want to hear this, but America pretty much loves your team.

Josh Allen, your quarterback is built like a linebacker on top of a freight train and he's an absolute stud and every fan of any team (not named the Chiefs) would swap their quarterback for yours.

And despite poor strategy that may have blown your 3 point lead with 13 seconds left, I think just about any football fan would take your coach over theirs.  Your guy never punts, hardly settles for field goals and motivates the players to play aggressively and fast.  He's solid.

This wasn't just football, it was epic -  the type of game football fans simply didn't want to end.  I know you guys don't want to hear this, but anybody who watched the game last night said it was probably the most exciting game they've ever seen.

And fans of the other teams know your pain, and we sympathize with you.  Unless you're a Patriot or Tom Brady, every season ends this way for most fans.

Can we play this out like they do in the NBA or in MLB, how about a best-of-7?

One possession, one coin-flip, and one overtime didn't seem like enough time to settle a back and forth game between two juggernauts, two world-class heavyweight prizefighters going toe-to-toe for 15 rounds.

I know you don't want to hear it, but your Bills gave us more thrills and excitement in the final two minutes of last night's game than the Giants and Jets have in almost a decade.

And we all know you'll be back next year; in the same exact spot, battling it out with the AFC's best for a chance to play in the Super Bowl on a cold day in January.

But I'm guessing that you probably don't want to think about that right now.
