Tonight, the Tri-City ValleyCats will play host to the Staten Island Yankees in a New York/Penn League game.  It's also Hunter Pence bobblehead night as the first 1,000 fans get a bobblehead of the Houston Astros All-Star.

But this game has even more meaning to me.  I'm throwing out the first pitch.

To be honest with you, I'm very nervous. I know that I can throw a baseball 60 feet away.  It's just like playing catch.

But not quite. There's a lot of pressure on me to at least get it to the catcher in the air.  I don't even need to throw a strike - just getting it to the catcher is my goal.

There will be over 5,000 fans on hand and most of them will probably be rooting against me.  After all, I've sunk you for over 3 years on the air, why not sink me in person, right?  I haven't really thrown a baseball in over a year so I'm sure I'll be a bit rusty.  Wish me luck.

I just hope my throw doesn't end up like these people that pooped their pants on the pitching mound like Washington Wizards rookie  John Wall or Ba Bay Booey from the Howard Stern show, that Cincinnati Mayor or Mariah Carey.
