Can you remember a season as highly anticipated as this for UAlbany lacrosse? The Great Danes are the third ranked team in the country and with the top recruit in the nation joining a Tewaaraton Award finalist on attack, a first-ever trip to the national semifinals almost feels expected.

That top recruit, Tehoka Nanticoke, and that returning Teewaraton Award finalist, Connor Fields, will be the engine that drives a team which could very well set the NCAA record for goals scored by one team

This season starts as it seemingly always has; at nationally-ranked Syracuse. The Carrier Dome is a place UAlbany has won only once against the Orange, but a win on Saturday could be the springboard to a program-defining year.
