Hall of Fame Guitarist Announces New York Concert

Time to add to the 2023 concert calendar and this time we have a new show for Albany!

When you think of legendary guitar players names such as Hendrix, Van Halen and Jimmy Page come to mind. When you think of legendary riffs you might hear "Satisfaction" or "Layla" in your head but none is more iconic than the Ritchie Blackmore/Deep Purple riff from "Smoke On the Water". Hall of Fame guitarist Ritchie Blackmore is coming to the Capital Region.

Blackmore's Night brings it's brand of Renaissance Rock to the Harte Theatre at the Egg in Albany on Friday October 27, 2023. Tickets for this performance will go on sale to the general public on Friday August 4th at 10am. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com and theegg.org.

Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night formed Blackmore's Night in 1996 and their first album of renaissance, folk, rock was released in 1997. To date Blackmore's Night have released 10 albums and have been together more than a quarter century.
