Case NY2500460964; New York State police out of Troop C hope you can help identify the person in the image below. On Thursday May 29th, at approximately 6am, this suspect was at Walmart in Cortlandville when he allegedly picked out a dark colored Ozark trail bike out of the bicycle section.

It appears this individual left through an emergency exit without even attempting to pay for the bicycle. The suspect appears to be male, wearing a black beanie, black pants, black coat and a backpack. Anyone with information is asked to call the New York State Police at 607-561-7400.

Case #2 - The New York State Police, according to a social media post, Troop B are seeking to identify the owner of a John Deere lawn mower. This lawn mower was found on Monday June 16, 2025, on County Route 53 in Brasher Falls. Details of the lawn mower:

  • John Deere lawn tractor
  • Serial Number: GXL130A140218
  • If anyone has information regarding this missing or stolen lawn mower, please contact the State Police in Massena at 315-379-0012.
