New York State Police Seek Your Help Identifying This Individual, Have You Seen Him?
According to Yahoo Finance, the cost of groceries has gone up approximately 25% in the last 4 years. Cereal went from an average of $4 per box to $5.12 per box. Milk is up 36% at an average of $4 a gallon and eggs are up 54% since 2020. Perhaps that is why the F.B.I. reports that larceny was the most common property crime in 2022.
Today New York State Police Troop C are seeking your help in locating and identifying an individual in connection with a larceny at an Upstate New York Home Depot. On Wednesday August 7th, according to a post on the New York State Police Facebook page, an individual allegedly left the Home Depot at 659 State Highway 28 in Oneonta, NY. without paying for items that did not belong to him.
Look closely at the pictures below. It appears that this individual was captured on surveillance cameras as he was literally running out of the store.
The individual pictured above is said to have left the store in a black Nissan with tinted windows. The vehicle was seen heading toward Interstate 88 eastbound. Anyone with any information is asked to call New York State Police Oneonta at 607-432-3211.
It is unclear what this individual is suspected of taking from this Home Depot. Considering the photos captured at the scene, the suspect is seen fleeing the store's garden center.
