Sammy Hagar with special guest Loverboy will perform at SPAC on Monday July 22nd starting at 7pm. Hagar and his band featuring Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Joe Satriani are expected to feature a setlist heavy with Van Halen tunes. Check for tickets HERE.

While in the Capital Region, Sammy Hagar had hopes of meeting the New York State Trooper that wrote the now infamous speeding ticket that inspired one of his biggest solo songs "I Can't Drive 55". Q1057 and 1035, the Capital Region's Classic Rock Station contacted NYS Police only to learn this meeting is impossible. Click HERE to learn why.

As you can see in the video Sammy Hagar enjoyed a beautiful day in the Capital Region, highlighted by time spent at the track. It appears Sammy and his entourage placed at least one winning bet and Hagar used his powerful Red Rocker voice to start the festivities with the following command:

Het Red Rocker Sammy Hagar here. You all know what time it is, right? RIDRES UUUUPPP! Whooo!
