Metallica are considered by many as one of the greatest bands in the world and the biggest of the Big 4 Thrash Metal bands of all-time followed by Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer. Since the release of 'Kill 'Em All' in 1983 through the release of 'Hardwired' in 2016, each album have sold over 1 million copies in the United States alone.

Metallica have announced tour dates that will keep them on the road, for the most part, until July of 2026. Most of the latest dates announced are European shows.
