When it comes to our pets, many of us get so overwhelmed by their cuteness that we can't help but fill our phone's storage with hundreds of pictures of them. That being said, do you have any pictures of your pet(s) that are so adorable they could pass for a professional model? If so, you might be able to raise some money for a good cause with that picture by entering them into the second annual Animal Protective Foundation Pet Calendar Cover contest!

If I were going to enter my fur-nephews into the contest, I'd have quite a hard time choosing between these two cuddly photos:

Of course, you could enter your pets individually. If I were going to do that with Brody (left) and Max (right), these would definitely be the pictures I'd use:

How Does the Contest Work?

  • First, register your pet for the contest (it costs $25).
  • Your pet will have their own page where people can vote by donating money. For every $1 donated, your pet will receive 1 vote.
  • The voting period will commence on April 1st and ends on June 15th.
  • The pet with the most votes overall will be the winner, and their photo will be on the cover of APF's 2024 calendar.
  • The pets with the most votes in each category (5 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 others) will have their photo on an individual month of the calendar.
  • Just for participating, every pet photo will be added into a collage in the calendar. So no matter what, if you register your pet, their photo will be in the calendar in some capacity.
  • Calendars will be sent out via mail prior to the 2023 holiday season.

If you have any questions about the contest, you can reach out to Riley Sheedy by email at sheedy@animalprotective.org or by phone at (518)374-3944 x115.
