
Capital Region 4th Of July Weekend Forecast Is One For The Ages
Maybe after having 7 straight months of wet weekends, Mother Nature is finally repaying us here in the Capital Region.
Last weekend (June 28-29) was our first weekend in Albany since November 16-17 with absolutely no precipitation. It was a gloomy streak, and we finally basked in the glory of beautiful weather all weekend long. And maybe that streak is worth the price we paid if we go on a streak in the other direction!

Capital Region 4th Of July Weekend Forecast Looking Stellar
According to the News Channel 13 First Warning Forecast, once we get through some potential afternoon showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, we can expect a stellar stretch of weather throughout the 4th of July 3-day holiday weekend!
On Friday the 4th, we can expect plenty of sun and a high of 80 - perfect weather for those 4th of July fireworks and celebrations. We will warm up for a bit rough the weekend with plenty of sun and a high of 84 Saturday, and Sunday we will see sun mixing with a few clouds and a high of 90. Looking ahead to our next chance of rain, it looks like we will be dry through the weekend with potential showers on Monday.
So with this latest forecast, it looks like 2 dry weekends in a row for Albany. Maybe now we can start a huge weekend streak of dry weather for the entire summer! We certainly have earned it. Fingers crossed!
