In the Summer of 2025, the biggest franchise in comedy got a new installment. The Naked Gun, part reboot, part sequel, followed the footsteps of Leslie Nielsen's cult classic with Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson in the lead.

The Beginnings of Romance

As The Naked Gun filming got underway, chemistry between the two actors reached undeniable levels. Despite what initial reports thought, Anderson confirmed in an interview with People Magazine that the two did not become romantically involved until after the shoot was complete.

Allegedly, the relationship was blown out of the water by the media. The two only spent around a week together in between the Naked Gun wrap and shooting of new projects, but it was a strong enough bond to make the headlines.

The couple's week-long relationship didn't just happen over text, specifically, it took place at Liam Neeson's home, which is located here, in Upstate New York. The home is located in Millbrook, just a short distance south of Albany, and Neeson has owned the home for decades after purchasing it with his wife, who is now deceased.

Anderson and Neeson spent the week exploring the area, and getting up to hijinks you'd expect from immature high schoolers. This wasn't just a fling, nor was it publicity, as Anderson has been very clear about, but real, intimate feelings that ended when they realized that they work better as friends rather than lovers.
