While it was not the white Christmas we were hoping for, it was close enough to add to the holiday spirit as celebrations continue into a post-Christmas weekend.
A quick blast of snow burst through the Capital Region on Friday, December 26th. This one did not linger with snow starting in the evening and tapering off in the early overnight hours.
But, it packed a solid punch, bringing about a half a foot to over 10 inches of snow to various spots throughout the Capital Region. Ares south of Albany saw the highest accumulations.
