
Winter Weather Advisory Issued: See Capital Region Snowfall Predictions
While the frigid temperatures have returned to more seasonable levels, winter rolls on in Upstate New York, with more snow expected for the Capital Region on Wednesday, February 18th.

Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Capital Region
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from Noon Wednesday until 4 am Thursday for fte following areas:
- Capital District
- Saratoga & Lake George Region
- Schoharie County
- Helderbergs
- Northern Taconics
- Northern Berkshire County
This storm is expected to start as a mix of rain and snow, turning to all snow on Wednesday afternoon with snowfall lasting until early Thursday morning. 2 to 6 inches of accumulation is expected, with areas south of Interstate 90 also getting a "light glaze" of ice. The biggest travel impact from this storm will be during the Wednesday evening commute.
Accoding to News Channel 13, southern areas like Greene and Columbia Counties can expect mostly rain with this storm. This event will kick off a weather pattern for the week, with the potential for more snow & rain on Friday.
