Watch as Halfmoon Gas Station Had Customers Dance For a Discount

A Sunoco gas station in Halfmoon had customers dancing for a discount. With gas prices over four dollars, a Sunoco convenience store employee had an idea that would put customers in a better mood and give them a reward.

Where Did This Happen?

The Sunoco store at 325 Route 146 in Halfmoon displayed a sign on July 30th that read, "Wanna discount? Show us your best dance moves." They offered twenty percent off on gas and other items in the store if the customers danced for the discount.

According to the Times Union, the Facebook video has more than six million views, a million views on TikTok, and nearly a hundred thousand on Instagram.

Who Were The Dancers?

The dancers featured in the viral video are regulars at this store. The manager, Paulina Sirtori, said she didn't realize that the customers would "dance their hearts out". She went on to say that it brought a smile to everyone's faces and brightened up their day.

I love this idea. We are all overwhelmed and paying high prices everywhere, especially for gas. Kudos to this Halmoon gas station for bringing some light and laughter to an otherwise mundane task that we all need.

There is no word on whether they will do the dance discount in the future, but for now, the video lives on and can bring some happiness to those who watch it.
