Worst Murder Plot Ever?

We can't all be villains in a David Fincher movie. Jean Sutherland of Colonie certainly thought he was. Between late 2024 and early 2025, Sutherland began an intricate plot to kill the father of his current girlfriend's son. Whether it was out of jealousy or some other reason, no one's quite sure.

Regardless, it started with a man that owed Sutherland money. He agreed to forgive the debt if the man killed his target for him. He then reached out to a local farmer with the hopes that he could dispose the body on the farm by feeding it to the pigs. There was just one tiny issue...

It Was the FBI

Yeah, you read that headline right. The farmer ended up being an undercover FBI agent, who began building a case against Sutherland. In January of 2025, Sutherland paid another man to deliver the corpse of a dead Canadian goose to the victim's mother's doorstep, with a threatening note attached to the beak.
