After in-home visits from Syracuse and Villanova on back to back days, Joseph Girard III has narrowed his choices to four schools. The Glens Falls soon-to-be-senior has scholarship offers from every corner of the country; from Washington to UMass, from Oklahoma to Notre Dame. However, none of those four schools appear to be among the finalists in the JG3 sweepstakes.

Topping the list right now, in no particular order, are Duke, Michigan, Syracuse and Villanova. As for the last name on the list, Nova has yet to offer, but it's believed they will once Jay Wright is back from a well-deserved vacation. Wildcats assistant coach and former guard Mike Nardi was in Glens Falls to visit Girard on Monday and when the team that just won its second national championship in three years comes calling, you do more than listen.

I can't imagine dealing with the weight of a decision like this and so it makes perfect sense that Girard would like to choose his destination sooner rather than later.
