Can somebody please tell athletes to stop trying to rap? I mean honestly, when has a sports star ever released a rap song that made you say “damn,” “oh sh*t” or even “yeah, that was a good decision.” Shaq’s rap career was worse than his free throw percentage. In fact, Shaq’s rap career was worse than his movie career, and I’m including Kazaam. And who could forget 40 Bars, Allen Iverson’s ode to gangsta-ness. A.I. battled the “thug” label his entire career, and while I happen to think he was a bit misunderstood, dropping songs about knowing “killaz that kill for a fee” doesn’t help your image. Find your PR guy, and fire him.
