A great pitching performance from Hiroki Kuroda and another big home run from Nick Swisher would help the Yankees Beat the Rangers 3-0.

Kuroda pitched an absolute gem as he would have a no hitter going into the 7th inning that was broken up by Elvis Andrus. He would allow only one more hit to Michael Young in the 8th.  He would pitch all nine innings striking out five and walking two for a complete game shut out.

The Rangers Matt Harrison would pitch well into the 7th until he was relieved by Alexi Ogando after giving up a single to Derek Jeter. Things wouldn't go well for Ogando as Nick Swisher would blast a home run into deep right center and that was followed up by "Teix Message" by Mark Teixeria.

Game three of this four game series is Wednesday night as Freddy Garcia will take on Scott Feldman for the Rangers. Be sure to check out all the action on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio with the pre-game at 6:30, first pitch at 7:05.
