Saturday night saw racing under the lights as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series headed to the Richmond International Raceway for the Capital City 400. Kyle Busch took the Checkered Flag. It was Busch's 4th straight win at the track.

It looked to be Carl Edwards'  race as he lead the majority of the event. By midway in the race, Edwards would battle it out with Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson. Johnson would lose ground due to a penalty in the pits. Then after a caution on lap 320, Edwards would be black flagged for jumping the restart  killing any momentum he had.  Edwards Crew Chief Bob Osborn would argue that Stewart spun his tires making it look like Edwards jumped the gun, but NASCAR officials would have none of it. Edwards would serve his penalty in the pits and restart 15th.

Tony Stewart would have the lead up until 8 laps to go when Kyle Busch would take over. Dale Earnhardt Jr. looked to give Kyle a run for his money but Busch's #18 was just too strong and Earnhardt would settle for second and Rick Hendrick will have to wait another race for his 200th win. Tony Stewart would finish third and Denny Hamlin and Kasey Kahne would round out the top five.

Next week the Sprint Cup Series heads to the Talladega for the Aarons 499.   Television coverage begins at 12 noon on FOX.
