Goz was in the office talking about "Bold Sports Predictions" for 2019 and I decided to play along. My goal with these predictions is to be both Bold and Correct so here are the top five Bold Sports predictions I could see really happening in 2019.

5) New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady calls it a career. Put together the day in and day out physical abuse, the rift between Brady and head coach Bill Belichick, the regression of the Pats and his supermodel wife wanting him at home and I see the "GOAT" walking away. The man has nothing left to prove and this year he looked tired for the first time yet.

4) The Raiders will play their home games in San Diego. With the lawsuit from the City of Oakland being filed against the Raiders and the NFL the team will play their home games in the recently vacated San Diego County Credit Union Stadium. Then it's on to Las Vegas.

3) The New York Mets will win the National League East. Brodie Van Wagenen has me believing in the Amazing Mets. I like almost everything he's done since he took over and I think there's more big moves to come.

he New York Jets will sign RB LeVeon Bell to the largest deal for a RB in the league. The Jets will be desperate to add weapons to Sam Darnolds' offense. If somehow Mike McCagnan is still the GM he'll need to make a splash and if he's gone The new GM will need to stuff it's no longer business as usual.

1) The New York Yankees will add San Francisco Giants' ace Madison Bumgarner at the trade deadline. The Yankees are in a literal arms race with the Red Sox and MADBUM could put them over the top.
