For those who bowl, a score of 890 is always a thought for us who shoot a 300 game and think we have a chance to hit such an impossible number. But for a local bowler it wasn't just a thought, it was history.

Liz Kuhlkin, a Rotterdam native and professional bowler on the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) tour did the unthinkable on Monday night at Towne Bowling Academy shooting games of 300-300-290 for the record total of 890. She now holds the record for the Schenectady Bowling Association and the United States Bowling Congress Women's National record with her 890 total. A graduate of Schalmont High School and an All-American at the University of Nebraska, Kuhlkin has always bowled at the highest level and she took some time to talk with our own Brian Mariano to talk about the her historic night.
