Early this morning on Mike and Mike, Golic and Ian Fitzsimmons broke down the NFC East with ESPN NFL insider Sal Paolantonio.

Golic asked if the New York Giants are the forgotten team in that division?  Sal Paolantonio said it's more so about the strength of the Eagles and Cowboys in the division that separate the two from the Giants.

"The Eagles and Cowboys are the two teams in the division, the Giants most certainly are the third team," Paolantonio said.  "Those two you can swap either way, but I feel the Eagles will be the team if they can close it out down the stretch.  The signing of DeMarco Murray helped the Eagles by weakening their toughest opponent in the Cowboys."

Let's hear what you think.  Are the Giants the third place team in the NFC East?  Let us know your thoughts on Facebook and Twitter at @1045theTeam and 1045theteam.com.
