MLB Realignment

Baseball is in talks about realign the divisions and leagues to produce a basically new league with the same old teams. I think this is insanely unlikely but I love being insane here are my ideas.

As you can see my idea is to have an East and a West like in the NBA or NHL. This would save money on travel cost  and also increase the material rivalries in MLB.  With this increased attendance and the DH throughout baseball, it will allow for teams to hold on to their super stars longer.

Yankee fans would keep the Red Sox and Rays, but they would gain the Mets and the Phillies. The end result is a better league for you and I.
