So the plan was to hold this years night race at the Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night. The weather said "NO!"

The race was postponed late Saturday night after only 48 laps due to rain and rescheduled for 1pm on Sunday. Oh Yea? The rain still did not give up and the race finally resumed close to 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

When the racing finally got underway, the Joe Gibbs Toyota of Kyle Bush was the class of the field leading 256 laps until breaking something in the suspension and spinning on lap 358. The #4 Stewart-Hass Chevy of Kevin Harvick led a majority of the final 200 laps keeping the carnage in his rear-view mirror and bringing home the victory. This was his second win of the season and allowed him to take over the points lead from Brad Keslowski (33rd). Ricky Stenhouse Jr brought the Roush Racing # 17 in second followed by the # 11 of Denny Hamlin, the #3 of Austin Dillon in fourth and the # 34 of Chris Buescher finished 5th. Buescher is now in the 30th position in points and in the chase if he can hold on through the final 3 races.

On to Michigan this week and with 5 spots up for grabs in the Chase, these last 3 races promise to be epic.
