Going into Saturday nights race in Richmond, there were some teams trying to pull of a miracle win to get into the chase and some trying to not falter and hold on to their spots. As the race progressed, things got heated and as those things usually go, Tony Stewart was in the middle of it...

Carl Edwards is the defending race winner at Richmond, but this is the last regular season race before the chase for the champion begins. The throwback race at Darlington had everything. Cool paint schemes, a Brady singing, and some old school racing(Tony Stewart). Kevin Harvick dominated most of the race and led 214 of the 367 laps. He seemed on his way to the victory until the pit road gremlins hit the #4 team again...

It came down to a couple of good drivers unfamiliar with victory lane. That's the best summary of Sundays hard fought race at Michigan. As the laps wore down, the # 42 Chevy of Kyle Larson held the lead. Not surprising considering he has been the best driver in 2016 that has been unable to seal the deal and get the win...

It is a fact that the # 22 of Joey Lagano has run well at Michigan. He dominated the race in June, leading 138 of the 200 laps. He also has finished in the top 10 in his last 7 races at Michigan AND the Penske team has done well with the downforce package the cars will be running this week...
