New Yankees Book Tells Behind-the-Scenes Story of 2009 WS Champs
A new book has hit virtual bookshelves (and actual bookshelves as those are still a thing) detailing some of the behind-the-scenes stories about the New York Yankees 2009 World Series championship team. Written by MLB and Yankees reporters Mark Feinsand and Bryan Hoch, "Mission 27: A New Boss, a New Ballpark and One Last Ring for the Core Four" dives into the personalities wearing pinstripes the last time they were on top of the sport.
Bryan Hoch, who covers the Yankees for mlb.com, joined Big Board Sports this past week to talk about the new book, the surprisingly successful Yankees given all their injuries and the reinforcement on the verge of joining a first place team.
