In the opening days of off-season workouts, the Giants made more headlines than maybe their fans would like.

The NFL announced that safety Will Hill had failed another drug test and will be suspended.  Walter Thurmond proclaimed himself the best slot corner in the league and told reporters that Big Blue's secondary could be better than the Seahawks'.  And backup quarterback Josh Freeman proclaimed himself a starter.

To explain, NJ.com's Jordan Raanan called into Armen and Levack and told them that the Giants probably saw Will Hill's problems coming, that Thurmond is confident but not cocky, and that Freeman may not even be a backup come the fall.
