The Jets have a steady veteran (Josh McCown), a buy-low option (Teddy Bridgewater), two apparent failed projects (Christian Hackenberg and Bryce Petty) and a soon-to-be top 3 pick filling the roster at quarterback. Clearly, those are more QBs than any team could need or even carry on an active roster, but I love the approach. Two years ago, the Jets put all their eggs back in the basket of Ryan Fitzpatrick and it could not have ended much worse than it did. Now, Mike Maccagnan is exploring all possible solutions to what has been a franchise-baffling search for the most important position in all of sports.

Whether or not you think the Jets gave up too much (two 2nd round picks this year and one in 2019) to move up to #3, you have to appreciate the urgency in which this front office is approaching what will be a QB-heavy top 10 in next month's draft.
