Obama To Visit Schenectady Tuesday

The White House just announced that President Obama will be visiting the Capital District again on Tuesday. Several local news outlets are reporting that Obama will be visiting General Electric to see their new nickel-sodium batteries manufacturing program which took advantage of federal stimulus money and created 350 jobs.

This will be the second time the president has visited the area - the first time was September 2009 when he visited Hudson Valley Community College in Troy to highlight their technology programs.
