On a much cooler day with even some light sweeping rain through the region and another big crowd, there were 10 races in all on the closing weekend Sunday at Saratoga Race Course.  None disappointed.  There was even a 69:1 that shocked the masses at the historic course. The ninth race was the highlight race, the 99th running of the Grade 2, $200,000 Sanford for 2-year-olds..  Wired Bryan, jockeyed by Shaun Bridgmohan, won the race, despite a charge by Kentucky Derby-winning jockey Joel Rosario and his horse Hollywood Talent (third place).  Wired Bryant is trained by former Todd Pletcher assistant Michael Dilger.  Southern Blessing finished in second with Rosie Napravnik riding.  Napravnik won the first race of the day on the horse Double Gold.

The shock of the day came in the final run.  69:1 odds horse Galiana took the honors with jockey Abel Lezcano.  Lezcano had never run at historic Saratoga Race Course.
