The Indianapolis colts have ruled out their MVP quarterback for the week one game versus the Houston Texans.

The Iron man quarterback hasn’t missed a start in 208 games that’s about to change. It was announced to today the Colts will look toward veteran Kerry Collins for the match-up against the Texans on Sunday.

This comes as a surprise to know one after it came to light this week that Peyton’s neck hasn’t had the speedy recovery that was expected. The veteran quarterback is far from the injured reserve list, but every game he misses his team will surely suffer. The guy was a 4 time MVP for a reason.
