Peyton Manning says that he plans to play in 2016. Whether or not it is with the Denver broncos is an even bigger question.

Brock Osweiler replaced Manning this week against the Chicago Bears as Manning dealt with a plantar fascia injury to his right foot. Osweiler went 20/27 for 250 yards and a pair of touchdown passes in his first career start.

With the New England now less than a week away, questions are swirling in Denver as to whether or not Manning will be able to play against Brady and the unbeaten Patriots.

"When Manning is healthy to play, he's my starter," Mike Golic said this morning on Mike & Mike.

Manning is in the midst of one of the worst statistical seasons of his career, alongside his rookie season of 1998.

"He can't make the throws anymore," Mike Greenberg said. "He's not the "Peyton Manning" we once knew.

Watching Brock Osweiler yesterday and comparing him to Peyton manning thus far this season, Osweiler looks to be the better quarterback at this point as far as the eye-test goes. Osweiler had plenty of 'zip' on his passes in the Broncos 17-15 win over the Bears. The more confidence and experience Osweiler gains, perhaps this makes it easier for Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak to make the decision to hold out Manning even longer; or even for good should Osweiler blossom into relatively decent starter. What would you do with Peyton Manning given these circumstances? Is he done?
