Portland Trailblazers Damian Lillard Hits Buzzer Beater Against New Orleans Hornets [VIDEO]

Damian Lillard has been sensational thus far for the Portland Trailblazers, averaging nearly 19 points per game to go with six rebounds and three assists in his rookie campaign. After yesterday, he can also say that he has a buzzer beater under his belt in his first year.

I must admit that I was skeptical of picking a kid from Weber State with a lottery pick, given that his performances in the Big Sky conference wouldn't mean much, in my mind, against the otherworldly talents of the NBA. This is me admitting that I was wrong.

What a cold blooded shot from Lillard here, simply taking a handoff and executing a stepback three all in one fluid motion. Just flawless execution and further proof that he has a long, successful career ahead of him in the NBA.
