It looks like temperatures in the 80s and 90s caused some tensions to boil over today with the Buffalo Bills.

Bills' beat writer Matthew Fairburn tweeted this earlier:

Not the most ideal headline to read about a team that's been in the conversation of Super Bowl favorites for the upcoming season. That said, this may actually be a good sign.

On the surface, players fighting is a negative thing. You want everyone in your locker room to get along, and be pulling on the same rope from Day One. I completely get that, and come Week 1, you expect that from your final roster.

On the flip side, however, for players at OTAs who are trying to impress the decision-makers, and who are trying to fight for a spot on an extremely talented roster, this kind of passion is a welcome sight for a practice in the middle of June. A player taking an interception to the house, and another player chasing him down and finishing the play, are two efforts that you commend a player for. Now, punches being thrown may not be the most ideal result, but the effort you saw beforehand, and the passion both players displayed during the entire play, is as ideal as it gets.

Watch the name A.J. Epenesa this season. This is a guy that isn't currently a starter on the depth chart, but could vie for more snaps with efforts like that moving forward.
