The NFL can’t allow a blown call to cost a team a trip to the Super Bowl. Sunday’s non-call won’t soon be forgotten, and the NFL needs a new policy in place so it won’t happen again. An obvious pass interference or helmet to helmet foul that is missed, has to be reviewed by the replay booth. It’s that simple. Everybody except the official on the field in the NFC Championship game knew a penalty flag should have been throw. New Orleans should be in the Super Bowl not the Los Angeles Rams, but it’s too late for that.
