The Seahawks start their quest for a third straight Super Bowl appearance when they take on the Vikings in the first round of the NFC playoffs.

The Seahawks beat the Vikings by a score of 38-7 just a few weeks ago in the same stadium but this week's playoff game (Sunday, 1 p.m.) will have a new dynamic to it: The weather.

Temperatures are expected to hover around zero - with windchills registering as low as -20.

How are the Seahawks preparing for it? We asked Bob Stelton of ESPN 710 in Seattle to get the information. Furthermore, we asked: What's the biggest X-factor in the game?

Is it the play of the quarterbacks in the cold weather? Is it the kicking game? Is it the return of Marshawn Lynch?

Stelton answered that.

The other NFC Wild Card matchup pits the Packers against the Redskins in Washington. That game is Sunday afternoon at 4:25.
