Some Ithaca alums that are now media members were excited to hear the news.
Ithaca athletic director Susan Bassett said this in a statement yesterday
The game is part of a yearlong celebration of the 150th anniversary of college football. Multiple games are being held at special locations. We're honored to have this incredible rivalry...among the featured games. This is a really big deal on a really big stage, and we intend to make this a college-wide celebration
Levack and I both believed that the Cortaca Jug and Dutchman's Shoes. There is just a better feel to the game on the college campus. Plus when the game moves to a bigger venue it feels like it less beneficial for students at the colleges at that time. Do you believe the RPI-Union football game should be moved to Metlife Stadium? Let us know your thoughts beiow?
