Siena Women’s Basketball Coach Ali Jaques Previews The Season [AUDIO]

The 2018 - 2019 Siena Saints women's basketball season gets underway this Saturday 2 pm at the ARC when the Saints host the Penn Quakers. To help us prepare for the game and the season Head Coach Ali Jaques previews her team.

The schedule for the Saints will not be easy but when you listen to coach Jaques speak you hear a level of excitement that's contagious. You also know she doesn't just fill your ears with "Coach Speak." There's no cliche "one day at a time" or "I just want the top effort from my players" when you ask what you expect from the season. Ali Jaques wants to win the MAAC and she's not shy about it. That's not her being braggadocios or bold simply put I agree with her that if your goal isn't to win it all what exactly are you playing for? It promises to be an entertaining season for the Saints women's team and hopefully one that ends with them cutting down the nets.
