Spotted in Syracuse! Upstate NY Sports Fans React to Bills’ Courtside Cameo
As the Orange took the floor against Pittsburgh at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, a few notable ticket-holders made their way to their seats.
One of those people was Adam Weitsman, the Syracuse superfan, who parked himself in one of his courtside seats to root on the Orange in their conference home opener. Seated next to him, however, were a few faces that Upstate New York sports fans were quick to recognize.
Is this considered...Upstate New York sport-ception?
Members of the Buffalo Bills Spotted Courtside at Syracuse Game
A story from Syracuse.com shared details on the surprise guests that were spotted courtside at the JMA Wireless Dome for Syracuse's game against Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, and wide receivers Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Tanner Gentry and Nigel King were all spotted in seats alongside Adam Weitsman.
The Bills were coming off of a victory against the Miami Dolphins in a game that happened on Saturday. So, with the time in between that game and their game this coming Saturday against Chicago, the group hit the road to 'Cuse.
For reference, it's two hours and 27 minutes to drive from the Bills' practice facility, ADPRO Sports Training Center, to the JMA Wireless Dome. With the game tipping off at 9 PM, however, it made it easier to cover the 156 mile drive in-time for the game.
We weren't the only ones who were surprised to see these players create their own Bills' Mafia at the Dome. Other fans had a field day with the sightings, as well:
Naturally, not everyone was impressed.
As it turns out, Allen and Company drove to Syracuse on one of the few weather-free days in Erie and Onondaga Counties. The area is set to be hit with a polar vortex, bringing snow, rain and freezing temperatures along with it.
Instead, they'll get to dodge the weather and the cold as they fly out to Chicago this weekend.
