Amar'e Stoudemire is extremely wishy washy when it comes to potentially playing overseas during the NBA lockout.  Initially, he said he'd be staying home.  Now, he says he's chances are high he won't.  Wha chew talkin' about, Amar'e?

The Dallas Mavericks beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-96 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.  Dirk Nowitzki is in some very elite company.

The Knicks first playoff series in 7 years didn't last long.  Boston defeated New York on Sunday, 101-89 on Sunday to win the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series, 4 games to none. A promising season ended with a thud.  So what's next for New York?

After last night's 96-93 loss to the Boston Celtics in Game #2, I have figured out one thing. This series is over!

If Game #1 is any indication of what’s to come in the Knicks/Celtics series, call me an NBA Playoff fan!  All I can say is, “Wow.” Ray Allen hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 12 seconds left as Boston rallied to beat New York 87-85 in Game #1 of the NBA Playoffs on Sunday night. Here are a few of my observations in the Knicks first playoff game in 7 years.

Carmelo and the Knicks beat the Heat thanks to defense of all things.  Cam Newton wasn't exactly the most accurate quarterback at the NFL Combine.

Ever since signing as a free agent last summer, Knicks big man Amar'e Stoudemire has been a breath of fresh air in the Big Apple. He has helped revitalize a historic NBA franchise that has been on life support for many years, and making franchise history in the process of this rebirth.

Paul Pierce and the Celtics were able to outlast the Knicks 118-116 despite Amar'e Stoudemire's great performance.

Don't confuse better with good.  The 2010 New York Knicks are off to a nice start.  They're better than they were last year, but they're still not good.
