We all know that if there is one thing Massachusetts has a wealth of, it's history. It's pretty common knowledge that the oldest city in the Bay State is Plymouth. However, over on the western side of the state, it's not nearly as much of a known face just how old some of these towns in the Berkshires are.
With so much history throughout all of Massachusetts, it's always interesting to learn about each town and city's history. While it's pretty well known that the oldest city in the state is Plymouth on the eastern side of the state, over on the western side, perhaps it's not nearly as well known what the oldest towns in the Berkshires are.
Every state is has its own unique set of little quirks that belongs to only their respective state, or local region, for that matter. It has now been a little more than two years that I've spent in The Berkshires and I've definitely picked up on some things in this particular region in western Massachusetts.
