It was a typical mid-January Friday night in Capital Region high school basketball. Single digit windchills were dropping to negative numbers, road teams kept the buses running. However, that didn't deter some road warriors from dropping the heat on this Friday night in Section 2 hoops. 38 match-ups on the schedule in boys basketball and another 29 on the girls basketball slate.
This Friday, January 17th 2020 Levack and Goz have been asked to judge a Chili Cook-Off at the Colonie Village Rec Center to benefit Northern Rivers. Now you know if we can do a good deed AND eat our fill of chili, we're in!
There was a soccer double-header at Colonie High School on Tuesday night, but that wasn't the main event. A large crowd was in attendance to support 19-year old Colonie graduate Markel Carras, who has leukemia.
