With this year's Hall of Fame voting complete, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens can no longer be elected to Cooperstown, a decision that is a disgrace to baseball.

The final tally of the Baseball Writers Association of America's National Baseball Hall of Fame ballot will come out next Tuesday. On that list is a 'who's who' of Major League Baseball records and accomplishments. The MVP, CY Young and other awards owned by the list of ballot members could sink a ship. However, many of the names that own much of that prestigious hardware are in danger of their time on the Hall of Fame ballot expiring with induction.

It's hard to believe that there wasn't a store like this already in historic Cooperstown, NY. To say it is necessary is an understatement. Finally, Main Street in Cooperstown will get its very own trading card store. It will be called "Topps by Dave & Adams".

At 23 years, 186 days old, Rexford native and Atlanta Braves starting pitcher, Ian Anderson, is officially a Baseball Hall-of-Famer. Sort of.

There are too many memorable moments to count for The Captain, so here are ten of my favorite shots from his career.

One of the greatest Yankees of all-time played for the Albany-Colonie Yankees in 1994. This isn't news for many locals, especially those that take advantage of the minor league baseball in the Capital Region. Before the ValleyCats were sending waves of Astros to the big leagues, the Albany-Colonie Yankees were supplying new recruits to the Bronx Bombers like Bernie Williams, Al Leiter, Deion Sanders, Roberto Kelly and Jim Leyritz to name just a few. However, without question, the greatest being Derek Jeter.

It is a long time coming for Yankee fans. Finally "The Captain" Derek Jeter will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown today. For me, Derek Jeter will always be the best Yankee that ever played the game. I was fortunate six years ago to meet Derek Jeter and ask him a couple of questions. I even made "The Captain" laugh.

Every town has legends, ghost stories, and haunted houses Cooperstown New York is no exception. Many of us know Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame but there's also the beautiful Leatherstocking Golfcourse and the equally beautiful Otesaga Hotel. There's only one issue with the Otesaga, it's haunted. I really wish someone had told me that before I stayed there!
