The Chicago Blackhawks are the reigning Stanley Cup Champions in the NHL and they mean quite a bit to their city and their fans. It's an Original 6 Stanley Cup Finals, the first since 1979 and the first finals since 1972 between American Original 6 teams.  Bruins and Blackhawks.  Here is a preview of the series that will eventually end in one of these teams hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup, the most coveted trophy in team sports.

The Chicago Blackhawks, 2010 Stanley Cup winners, beat the 2012 Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings in double-overtime, 4-3, in Game 5, thanks to a goal by Patrick Kane.

The Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in 2010.  The Kings raised Lord Stanley in 2012 as the first 8-seed to do so.  Now, these two teams will face-off in the Western Conference Finals for the right to play for the Cup again.  Here is a series preview.
