The AFC East Is Now The Bills’ To Lose
Ever since Sean McDermott and Brandon Bean became Head Coach and General Manager respectively of the Buffalo Bills the arrow has been pointed up. Now with the addition of WR Stefon Diggs to the Bills' offense and Tom Brady leaving the New England Patriots the Bills are now the team to beat in the AFC East.
McDermott brought a brand of physical defense and effective offense to the Bills and had lead the team to the playoffs in two of his first three seasons. Last season the Bills' offense clearly lacked a prototypical play maker at the Wide Receiver position. Stefon Diggs fills that role and with John Brown and Cole Beasley make a pretty explosive WR corps. So I was looking forward to seeing if this Bills team could challenge Brady and the Pats but now "The GOAT" and many other key players like LB Kyle Van Noy have left the building and the Bills will be the favorite of many to win the AFC East for the first time since 1995. If this happens they'd be the first to take the Title for m the Patriots since the Miami Dolphins won the East in 2008. How will the Bills respond to the pressure? We'll all find out together when the NFL season kicks off.
