One of the storylines we were following this High School Baseball season was that of Zach Ashline. Zach had surgery to remove a brain tumor in early December 2020 and was able to get on the baseball field by April. That alone is an amazing accomplishment but he went on to have a monster season. Zach joined the show this week and you can listen to it above!

You have not seen the last of Collin Morikawa winning Major Championships. He’s only 24 years old and already has won 2 Major’s after a flawless performance at the British Open. That was his first appearance at the British Open, and he also won the 2020 PGA Championship on the first try. He was unflappable on one of golf’s biggest stages and his demeanor along with his brilliant game sets him apart. He is poised beyond his year’s and his game will only get better. Morikawa conducts himself like a Champion, and after winning on Sunday, it’s 2 down and counting.

The Mets won’t even make the playoffs without a healthy Jacob deGrom. MRI results keep showing no structural damage, and yet he’s back on the 10 day IL for the second time this season. Something obviously is wrong with deGrom and they need to figure it out before they put him back on the mound. Without deGrom your left with Marcus Stroman and Taijuan Walker and then a major drop off in pitching depth. Cross your fingers Mets’ fans that you don’t lose the best pitcher in baseball for an extended period time, because he’s that valuable.
