The Who are Going Mobile in 2022 with 3 Concerts in New York State
I would drive miles and miles and miles to see a good concert and if you are the fan of The Who you will be "going mobile" this Spring as The Who have announced their 2022 "The Who Hits Back North American Tour". As of now there are 3 dates set for New York this year.
This won't be the typical Rock Concert either. The British legends have something unique planned for these dates.
The Who team up with Live Nation for their upcoming North American run featuring Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend and some of the finest orchestras in the United States and Canada.
As for New York, there are 3 dates in 2022:
- Madison Square Garden, NYC on Thursday on May 26th
- Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Bethel, NY on May 28th
- UBS Arena, Belmont Park on October 7th
The tour kicks off April 22nd in Florida and tickets for each date currently scheduled go on sale to the public beginning Friday, February 11 at 10am local time at LiveNation.com.
So, who are The Who in 2022? It's a bit of a family affair as Pete Townshend's younger brother Simon will be playing guitar on this run. Here are some of the players:
- Simon Townshend - Guitars
- Loren Gold and Emily Marshall on keys
- Jon Button on bass
- Zak Starkey (Ringo Starr's Son) on drums
