During the 2024 National Lacrosse League season, we learned that comedian Bert Kreischer was a fan of the Albany FireWolves and their jerseys. Soon after that, the FireWolves revealed on Instagram that another star was added to the list.

Country Music Superstar Thomas Rhett is Presented a FireWolves' Jersey

Nope, you read that correctly: Thomas Rhett, one of the most popular country music singers in the world right now, was presented an Albany FireWolves' jersey to commemorate the team's Country Night event, which took place on Saturday, January 6th.

Take a look:

It's always pretty cool to see someone famous, regardless of their profession, representing an Albany/Capital Region sports team in some capacity. As mentioned above, Bert Kreischer came out on-stage wearing his jersey, much to the delight of the crowd at MVP Arena.

Remember that?

Thomas Rhett has a smattering of tour dates listed on his website, but his dates on the East Coast are currently few and far-between. As of July 19th, his only scheduled performance in New York is on the Today Show.

That said, if he ever adds MVP Arena or Saratoga Performing Arts Center to his touring schedule, we'll have to see if he sports his FireWolves' jersey when he and his band take the stage.

Then, and only then, will we be able to confirm that Thomas Rhett is a member of the Wolfpack.
