For the fifth time in his career, Tiger Woods win the Memorial.  He is now tied for second place with Jack Nicklaus for PGA tour wins. Tiger Woods is one step closer to doing something many were doubting over the last few years.  He can pull ahead of Jack Nicklaus for second place on the all time PGA tour wins.  They both have 73 total with Woods win at the Memorial on Sunday. He finished up on Sunday nine under, two shots ahead of second place Rory Sabbatini.

More fitting about this win for Tiger, and the tie with Nicklaus is that he did is at a tournament that Nicklaus built.  Sam Snead holds the record for most PGA tour wins with 82.  At 36 years old, Woods has a realistic shot at topping the list.  This win at Memorial has many thinking that Woods has a shot at another coveted record.  Nicklaus's 18 major championships.  Currently Woods has 14, but the US Open is right around the corner.
