Tiger Woods Ranked 49th – Almost Misses Cut For His Own Tournament
Tiger Woods was very close to missing out on his own golf tournament that happens this December, the Chevron World Challenge.
Tiger Woods must have been watching this weekends BMW Championship very closely this weekend, a tournament that he didn't even qualify for. The thing that mattered most to Woods was that his world golf ranking didn't slip below 50 or he wouldn't be eligible to play in the Chevron Challenge that takes place in December, a tournament that Woods hosts.
Thankfully Woods sits at #49, just barely making the cut for his own golf tournament. Woods has won the Chevron four times. This year though he has only played in two tournaments following his run at The Masters. He is scheduled to play in two more tournaments before the Chevron. He will take part in the Frys.com open next month and the Australian Open in November.
